You will notice the transfer progress on the bottom of the screen.To configure FileZilla to connect to your website click on the small computer icon on top left
[ encircled icon ] .
STEP 2: A Site Manager window will show up.
Click on New Site button and enter a name for the new connection settings.
STEP 3: Fill in the connection details.
Enter Host name (this is your FTP address, please NOTE: NO "www", "http" but "ftp" goes in front of the domain name).
Your Server Type is FTP.
Logontype is Normal. Then click Connect.
STEP 4: Now connection established! You will see the folders of your site on the right side of the screen.
STEP 5: Choose a folder, you want your files from local machine to your website to be uploaded.
For cPanel server type your upload directory is public_html folder.

Now you can see the file has transferred.
Congratulations! You have just uploaded your file. It should be visible in your internet browser window.
STEP 6: When you upload everything you need you can close the connection.
Click the one encircled.
You can safely close the program now by clicking the "x" button top left of the screen.
